Next Level K9 Security Protection for Your Peace of Mind
Protect an empty building with a system designed around its entrances, internal routes and periods without authorised occupants. ZimCos Security Ltd installs professional Ajax alarm systems for vacant properties, with photo verification and monitoring arrangements agreed for the site.
ZimCos Security Ltd is an Ajax trained and approved installer. We combine alarm installation with a practical discussion of who receives alerts, how an activation is assessed and what action follows. Our Watford-based team handles enquiries for empty commercial premises, managed properties and buildings awaiting refurbishment or a new tenant.
Compatible Ajax MotionCam detectors combine motion detection with photographs that help the authorised recipient assess an activation. On wireless MotionCam systems, Jeweller carries alarm events and Wings carries the photographs. Device and hub compatibility are checked when specifying the system.
Photo verification provides visual context; it is not a continuous CCTV recording. If your building needs video coverage as well, we can discuss cameras and the appropriate integration as a separate part of the proposal.
Before installation, agree the monitoring hours, alert recipients and escalation contacts. The proposal should identify who reviews an activation, what information they receive and the circumstances in which an attendance request is made.
App notifications, monitored alarm handling and physical attendance are separate parts of the service. We specify the arrangement for your property so you know which are included. Where needed, discuss keyholding, alarm attendance and patrol visits alongside the installation.
Raise this at the quotation stage. Ajax offers battery-powered and cellular-connected hub options, including Hub BP Jeweller, for suitable designs. The proposed equipment, battery arrangements, signal and maintenance visits must be assessed together. A wireless detector does not mean every part of the system can run indefinitely without power.
We confirm the power and communications plan for the chosen equipment rather than quote a universal battery duration.
Owners, managing agents and contractors can request a proposal for a single vacant unit or several buildings. List each property separately with its access arrangements and utilities. One site may need an alarm with photographic verification while another also needs cameras, inspections or staffed security.
Our wider vacant property security service covers the combination of measures, including inspections and reporting. Alarm equipment does not replace every physical property check.
Costs depend on the number and type of detectors, building layout, communication equipment, power arrangements, installation work, monitoring scope and maintenance. Ask for equipment and installation charges to be distinguished from recurring monitoring, connectivity and attendance charges. Send your brief for a property-specific proposal.
Include the full postcode, property type, approximate size, number of entrances, vacancy period, power and broadband availability, and any existing equipment. Tell us whether you require photo verification, camera coverage, keyholding or attendance. For multiple sites, provide a short list of the properties and their differing requirements.
MotionCam provides photographs for alarm verification. Video verification uses compatible cameras and a suitable configuration. We specify which method is included rather than treat the two as interchangeable.
The proposal defines the monitoring service, hours, recipients and escalation arrangements. Having the Ajax app or a detector with a camera does not itself establish a staffed monitoring contract.
Yes. Send the location, expected vacancy period and utilities available so we can assess a suitable installation and monitoring arrangement.
Discuss the required inspection frequency, access and reporting alongside the alarm installation. The agreed scope defines what each service includes.
